These Terms of Service govern your use of Nephi, including the Nephi mobile app and nephi.app. By using Nephi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

Purpose of Nephi

Nephi is a scripture companion app intended to support personal reflection, scripture discovery, journaling, and spiritual growth. Nephi is not an official publication or product of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

No Professional Advice

Nephi provides spiritual and reflective content. It does not provide medical, mental health, legal, financial, or professional advice. If you are experiencing an emergency, crisis, or serious mental health concern, contact emergency services or a qualified professional.

User Content

You may create journal entries, reflections, saved verses, or other personal content inside Nephi. You are responsible for the content you create. Do not submit unlawful, harmful, abusive, or infringing content.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Nephi, interfere with app functionality, attempt unauthorized access, copy or scrape content at scale, reverse engineer the app, or use Nephi for unlawful purposes.

Subscriptions and Paid Features

Nephi may offer paid features or subscriptions in the future. If paid features are introduced, pricing, billing terms, renewal terms, and cancellation options will be disclosed at the time of purchase through the applicable app store or payment provider.

Intellectual Property

The Nephi app, website, design, branding, software, and original content are owned by Mendoza Ventures LLC or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission, except as allowed by law.

Third-Party Services

Nephi may rely on third-party tools for hosting, analytics, diagnostics, testing, app distribution, or future functionality. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms and policies.

Availability and Changes

Nephi may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We are not responsible for interruptions, errors, loss of access, or changes to app functionality.

Nephi is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet every user expectation.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mendoza Ventures LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Nephi.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Nephi develops. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of Nephi after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
